Labour in Energy and Industry is an informal group of Labour members who are working in and around the energy sector and for energy-intensive industries.

The group’s purpose is to:

• Provide a forum for networking for those working in and around the energy sector and energy-intensive industries who are supportive of the Labour Party

• Create and maintain a dialogue and share information between the Labour Party movement and those working in the sector– businesses, trade unions and party members

• Identify opportunities for collaboration and partnership between the network  e.g. Ensuring a smooth transition to net zero that supports skills, enables business competitiveness and maintains Labour Party values
